A contribution to the European dialogue on operational effectiveness, governance, and trust in the use of AI in cybersecurity
Reggio Emilia, March 6, 2026 – Cyberoo S.p.A., an innovative SME listed on the Euronext Growth Milan Market, specialized in cybersecurity for businesses, announces its participation in a study on the use and potential impact of Artificial Intelligence in the field of incident detection and response, published by ANSSI (Agence nationale de la sécurité des systèmes d’information), the French government agency responsible for cybersecurity. In the report, Cyberoo is mentioned among the vendors involved and contributed to the work through direct discussions with the research team.
The ANSSI study: objectives and scope
As part of European initiatives dedicated to the evolution of operational cybersecurity, ANSSI has published this market study with the aim of providing ANSSI and the European Cyber Competence Center with an overview of the state of the art in artificial intelligence technologies and emerging trends in the incident detection and response market.
The study focuses primarily on European vendors (including international suppliers with a strong presence in the European Union) to compare approaches, practices, and methods of using AI in SOC solutions.
Why AI has become “SOC-critical”
The report starts from a key observation: growth in volume and complexity makes it increasingly difficult for SOCs to maintain timeliness, relevance, and completeness in alert management, reinforcing the question of how AI can support operational continuity and effectiveness.
Trend highlighted: Agentic AI and “trust” requirements
Among the points of interest, the report highlights how Agentic AI, currently used primarily in the alert qualification phase, is evolving rapidly and how some vendors are already integrating it; looking ahead, this evolution could extend to forms of autonomous remediation. At the same time, the report emphasizes the need for mechanisms to assess the level of trust and ensure its sustainability over time.
“Being involved and cited in an analysis promoted by a government agency such as ANSSI represents an important element of authority and international positioning for Cyberoo. This mention reinforces our credibility as a partner in the field of detection & response and SOC operations, highlights our commitment to contributing to the concrete and measurable use of AI in cybersecurity, and confirms the sector’s focus on adopting artificial intelligence that improves effectiveness and operational continuity without sacrificing control and governance.” – said Veronica Leonardi, CMO & Board Member of Cyberoo.
Cyberoo proudly welcomes the opportunity to have contributed to this work, in a context in which ANSSI thanks the participating vendors, emphasizing that their contribution has been essential in enriching the analysis and promoting the evolution of AI in SOC operations.
