Reggio Emilia, July, 11th 2024 – Cyberoo S.p.A is an innovative SME listed on the EGM market of the Italian Stock Exchange, specialized in cyber security for companies, has approved its second Sustainability Report. The document, referring to the 2023 fiscal year, is prepared on a voluntary base and reports a selection of the international standards “GRI Sustainability Reporting Standards – 2021,” according to the “Referenced” reporting option, and represents for Cyberoo the continuation of the committed path of Corporate Social Responsibility.
The Company is active in the cybersecurity market and makes the culture of innovation one of the cornerstones of its growth strategy. Its sustainable development model generated Economic Value of 20 million euros (+16% compared to 2022)in 2023, making 15 million as Distributed Economic Value (+19% compared to 2022).
The company, strongly committed to enhancing every useful technology, at the same time puts people at the center as drivers of growth. A social dimension that translated in 2023 into an expansion of the workforce, which now numbers 94 employees (+25% compared to 2022). All employees are permanently employed by the company on permanent contracts, 96.8% full-time, and with 7% more women employees than the industry average. The commitment to training is significant, with over one thousand two hundred hours of education provided during the year.
On the environmental impact aspect it has to be spotlighted the drastic reduction in waste, with -51% of waste produced at the Group level. Also noteworthy is the positive impact of collaborations on the territory, with 29% of suppliers concentrated in Emilia-Romagna (93% in Italy).
In 2023, Cyberoo also confirmed its commitments to information and cultural divulgation, participating in investors events and developing 4 different collaborations with universities, schools and research organizations. The company also renewed the participation in the educational collaboration project launched in 2022 together with the Scaruffi-Levi-Tricolore Technical High School in Reggio Emilia, aimed at bringing young people closer to work and business issues related especially to the IT and cyber security world.
The period, which saw no complaints and/or penalties for ESG non-compliance, also saw ISO/IEC 27001:2013 certification and Cyberoo’s inclusion as a “Representative Vendor” in the “Gartner Market Guide for MDR Services.”
